What is a "Blind Date Session"?

A “ Blind Date Session” is basically just a couples shoot. BUT. The “couple” has never met, spoken to, or seen their counterpart! They don’t see each other until literally right before we start shooting.

How do you find/select the couples?

I advertise on my social media or business pages that I'm looking for single couples/candidates who are open-minded and comfortable with the concept. I try and match people based on their applications as much as possible. I try to focus on compatibility questions that will help match people based on more than just their looks. Questions about what their passions are, what their deal-breakers or love languages are, what their favourite personality traits are... If I can match two people based on that, the chemistry is likely to be insane!

Why did you start offering "Blind Date Sessions"?

It's honestly something on my bucket list that I'd love to do! I'm looking to step out of my comfort zone and try something new, fun and exciting! I'm always looking for ways to push myself passed what I'd normally do and be forced to create something challenge-based. What better way than to do a couples session with two people who have never met?! This also gives me the opportunity to capture natural, raw emotion and chemistry between two people who would have otherwise never crossed paths.
