Hi there! I’m Kayla — a small-town, passion-driven, hobbyist photographer based in Northern Ontario. I’ve always been captivated by the power of visual storytelling and the way a single image can hold emotion, spark a memory, and freeze a fleeting moment in time. With a keen eye for detail and a love for finding beauty in the everyday, I strive to create images that feel genuine, heartfelt, and a little bit magical.

          I grew up in a family that believed no moment was too small to document — from messy hair mornings to belly laughs. That upbringing and foundation shaped my love for natural elements, candid connections, and the kind of nostalgia you can feel just by looking at a photograph. My passion for storytelling comes from wanting to relive those warm, familiar moments — and being able to offer that same experience to my clients is something I deeply cherish.

          Through my lens, I aim to celebrate the uniqueness of every person and the story that unfolds naturally in front of me. I believe great photography is a collaborative experience, and I’m committed to understanding your vision so I can deliver images that truly feel authentically you. Each session is a chance to create something meaningful and share my love for photography with others. I’m always excited to explore new ideas, connect with new people, and chase the kind of light that makes everything glow.

          When I'm not behind the camera or in my creative world, you’ll likely find me working as a Registered Nurse, or soaking up time with friends, family, in my favourite quiet corners of Northern Ontario. I’m a big believer in genuine moments, good company, and celebrating the beauty in the ordinary. I’m also a proud mom to a wonderful little boy with special needs, whose bright spirit keeps me grounded, grateful and inspires me every day to slow down and appreciate the beauty in small moments and celebrate life a little more softly. There’s magic in the ordinary moments — the little gestures, quiet pauses, and imperfect joys — and those are the moments I love to capture most.
